BMW X5 headlights foil
Couldn't find my previous thread about the headlights foil and I decided to ask again the community, but this time people or people who know the dark foils for headlights. Because I want now to polish the headlights and will put darker foil( + original orange angel eyes ) and like this, they'll be emphasized, which I personally like. P.S Before I never putted any foil on the headlights and firstly I wanted to ask the community here for tips :P Thanks! |

Do you have a picture of the "foil" installed on any headlights? I'm not sure exactly what you meant by foil but it could be a difference in description between primary languages.

Mine are tinted. I really like the look bu the light output sucks. I’m build a new set which I’ll black the internals but not tint. I thought of tinting but leaving a circular clear area I front of the projectors and highs. I’ll have to think more about it.
You can see me lights in my profile pic

Waffen, if you search Amazon for "headlight tint" JDM and VIVID are two companies that make yellow headlight film. To your question you could use that to "restore or enhance" the marker lights externally, once you polish the headlight, simply apply the yellow film to just the turn signal \ marker light portion of the headlight and it would enhance the yellow appearance. You could also, with a steady enough hand, tint the remainder of the headlight with actual "smoked" tint to tint the headlight itself and level it out, or if you didn't want smoked, use clear impact resistance with a UV protector and you won't have to polish the headlights nearly as often.
