Great job description (almost said summary but that is the completed recipe). You can see why they make a two part front prop shaft! I'd be soooooo tempted to make the shaft 6.1mm shorter!

Well I got the part today. tomorrow I will do all the work to modify the driveshaft and add that tip

Even with all the years of woodworking I've done, I've never found a saw blade that cuts something longer. The pieces always come out shorter.

Well, I suck... I'm happy to say that the fix works. But I didn't took a single picture or video... Anyway, I measure the original length and then welded the part an inch longer. I did try to take it to a driveshaft shop, but no one seems to be able to balance it because they don't have the adaptor or whatnot. I installed it and test drove to 80MPH happy to say that there is no vibration whatsoever.

3936 rpm at 80 if you have 3.0 3754 RPM if 4.4.

65.6 or 62.6 hz. Would sound like a transformer hum if it had any off balance.

Fortunately you were working on the skinny end very unlikely to introduce a troubling shake.
