I have a question. What is the procedure for cranking it with the plugs out with an automatic start?

AS mentioned before:
Step one Add 4 gals of gas - see notes below - Engine starts? No, go to 2
Step two
Remove covers from the engine to expose coils, Disconnect each coil. Old style versions have bolts, newer version have flip tops to disconnect each coil from the primary wiring (thin stuff) marking them 1,2,3 as you go front to back side to side. To remove twist left and right then pull straight up. The plug will be in the bottom of the well. Oil all over the place when you pull the plugs? Valve cover gaskets need replacing. If you have the OLD STYLE coils, replace the boots.

NOTE: New coil styles do not have replaceable boots (Mini plug wires)
Read your coil type and get the same brand - Bosch or Bremi

Remove each plug and inspect. mark them also
Lay a THICK rag across each plug bank and turn key. The auto start will spin the engine w/o the plugs installed for approx 6-10 secs.
Let plugs air dry AFTER inspection (wet or dry??)

Note: If they are dry add 4 gals of gas to your tank as it may have the common problem of fuel pump failure where the saddle style tank is dry on the main pump side but has xx gals on the reserve side. VERY common problem that you can live with by keeping the tank over 1/4 full. I am assuming that money is tight based on the posting strings. You mention you are at 1/4 tank and that is exactly where this issue rises up and bites you in the butt. Add 4 gals of gals to the vehicle. Car starts Y/N

Very good post. Especially as the car very likely had an issue of being at a different angle and when the fuel pump primes for 6 seconds with key on before crank, that actually will move fuel from right tank to left causing more fuel starvation when low. Definitely need to start with add fuel.

Disconnect all plugs, Lay towels over plug holes, crank engine for 8- 10 sec watch for fire. DO NOT ADD MORE LIQUID down each plug holes before spinning the engine over with the plugs removed. PLEASE

Getting the popcorn

You may want to depress the accelerator pedal all the way to the floor and hold it there before starting the engine. This is known as the clear flood mode. You don't want to be pulsing the injectors and continue to add gas to the cylinder as in a regular start mode.

The other option is to pull the fuel pump relay.

Good luck with the B M Trouble U.

Someone on this forum even posted how they flooded their BMW X5 by just starting it up and driving it into the garage. The next morning it wouldn't start.

Ok, here's the update
I've started on it trying to get plug number one out it won't budge and I'm afraid of breaking it because I don't have money to buy a new one but there is oil down in in the well so it is wet but not with gas with oil. I know that's not good so what is my next option here. Please help. And PS sorry guys no explosion yet and there won't be.

By the way, brand new battery I bought just a few days ago is dead and I had a solar panel battery maintainer on it and is dead. I haven't used any of the interior lights nothing I've done is charged my phone in the cigarette lighter socket and had the other one in the socket for the charger the maintainer.
