A guess would be you left something disconnected?
Open up the door, review you have the link attached to the inside handle, you have NOT disconnected something else, etc.

Thanks, StephenVA - weirdly today the door opened up on it's own, from inside and out without any tinkering. Something is still off though - the window switches do not auto power down, you have to hold it to keep it in motion, none of the other power windows work from the driver's door card (they work from their own switch), and the driver's door does not lock. It's basically as if the car thinks the driver's door is "open" even though it is closed flush with the fender/rear door. Would this be happening because the lock cylinder/pole is not aligned properly or something to that affect? I did not detach it when i removed/installed the carrier (which i had to do for the rear door when i pulled that carrier out) but I'm wondering if I jostled the pop up pole and that could be causing an issue.

Sounds more like plug/socket issues on the driver's door master switch - check they are all seated correctly.

Carrier Issue
Window won't auto down if the car thinks any doors are open or key not in run position.
The sensors are in the DLA.

Thanks for the replies, fellas. The issue was the master driver's switch, one of the plugs wasn't fully set and once i popped that out and in, all was cleared up.
