Note: On 2 Foxwell units, I found say they are setting/changing the ride heights but in reality they do nothing but read ride height. You will need additional software to complete the settings and to determine your issues.

Been down this road before....

Thanks for the reply. What software should I be using? INPA? Other? What should I be looking for?

Some functions require starting in the service vs. control (?) menu. A buddy of mine had inactive suspension for a while and was able to use NT 520 to force it to reinflate the air springs manually for a good while until the problem was resolved.

Looks like a very helpful guide. If I can determine that I can use with win7 on my Mac I will eventually get the BMW software going. For now I've been able to do everything needed including TC oil reset etc with foxwell. I just can't do coding so I'm stuck with the annoying auto lock on wife's car. I want to disable when I use my copy of her key.

Is it a coincidence that 100% of her door lock have failed and mine all still work after almost identical age in years and miles when my car doesn't auto lock but hers does?

I think not.

With only the driver's side unlocked, my X5 unlocks all doors, then relocks them every time with the key fob or key inlock but NOT the console lock. Why? I need to code that one out. It may take all of the BMW cracker codes as some are not in INPA at all but are in others (?!) Why? Foxwell does not even have the function to change it.

Definitely fix the crazy code lock. Killed all four of wife's DLA. I still have to rebuild the right rear as it will lock but not unlock.

Thanks to all. Could the problem be temperature related? I was able to get the X5 to lift and lower using the Foxwell. Cleared the codes and stayed clear for a few days until the ambient temperatures dropped below freezing again overnight. Code came back next morning.

Could there be water in the expansion tank or in a valve somewhere that is freezing and causing the fault? Cleared it again and been fine as temps above freezing. Strange but thought I'd ask.

Thanks in advance.

Slight thread revival. I’m having a similar issue - after it rains a lot and gets cold…. Had put it down to a weak battery. But the battery is fine (I bought a brand new replacement, cleared the codes. And now have the same issue again after a few days….). I reckon could be water ingress somewhere??? (Hopes desperately… scraping barrel for random possibilities to check….).

Level sensors are all correctly seated. I’ve rebuilt the pump. No airbag leaks. Getting accumulator level stays constant error…

Grateful for any other suggestions.
