Glad you got it sorted. It's interesting that the I01113 Diversity module has zero connection with the FZV, since the picture that you yourself posted says otherwise..

It would appear that some models (earlier cars perhaps?) have a slightly different arrangment. Or maybe this picture is an early engineering concept image that ended up being executed differently in production.

The picture above explains my earlier understanding of the FZV antenna - that it was in the side window. But I see now it is in the rear window - so it can work without I01113. Good to know...

Yes its my bad hehe. This picture I posted is from E70. I found that out after a few minutes/hours after posting it, so I edited my post and added underneath that the picture that it's for E70.
I didn't want to delete it just in case somebody stumbles on it and confuses it for E53 by mistake, like I did.
And it also shows how the system slightly evolved for E70 vs E53

I'd gotten the idea that the FZV aerial was in the side window from other locations (in the past) also. That and the fact the the aerial for the independent aux heater receiver is in the side window also (on my 3.0d) led me down the wrong path! Doh!

And if you don't have TV function or Webasto remote from the factory there is no aerial on the right side window. Found out this when I installed the remote for mine.
