Help to locate oil leak
I think I found the reason that my car have strong burning smell. Could someone please tell me where is the oil leak possible came from? These are pictures of one of the catalytic converters I took under the car. It looked like it dripped down directly from somewhere above in the area of the back of the valve cover gasket but it’s not. The VCG is bone dry on the front, on the side, and back. Check again, there is nothing on the right side of the engine to leak except the valve cover gasket.

Remove the pretty cover from the engine. Oil can get under from a loose oil fill cap or spill when filling and will very soon become white smoke with the well known scent.
Also VCG will leak on the inside around the plugs not just perimeter
