I test on sand or snow occasionally to make sure all four corners will spin.

I don't remember how hard you or wife tired to get the car to move but I could see a case where TC would be made very unhappy.

That said, hopefully it won't come to replacement but it wasn't a difficult job when I had to replace and I found a warrantied used one for about $500 including shipping.
Which Foxwell do you have? 510?

One more quick question. Should I be able to feel the TC actuator move when I hold my hand on it and have someone cycle the key on and off?

Yes. That's why you hear the click wheb the gear wears out at power down.

Caveat; likely if error'd out it will be disabled.

That said if you have the foxwell you can directly activate the actuator

I tested mine by pulling the actuator off the TC and activating it. I could see the gear spin.

I read an earlier post of a guy that tried to test bench his actuator, using pin 8 and 1. It worked on the bench but not in the car. He replaced the entire actuator because it wouldn't work in the car when installed. These cars are like ouija boards.

The actuator is working. Like you said, when I have the DSC codes the system is disabled. If I clear the codes it will work, I can watch it on the livestream mode, it watches the voltage and degree that is is turned to. I'll wait until I get a Foxwell here and go from there. I don't think any local stores have compatible transfer case fluid, so that is coming next week as well.

Purchased a Foxwell NT530, changed the transfer case fluid, reset the transfer case adaptations, all is good again. Thank you for the direction. Much appreciated.
