Quick question - how to check power to passenger side mirror?
Yesterday the passenger side mirror was working fine after I wiggled the connector to the power window switch. Today I went to reinstall the door card and reconnected the switch, but the mirror won't work - nothing at all. What's the best way to check if there is power coming in/out of the switch? I am starting to think it maybe either the connection/connector or something inside the switch itself. Is there a certain wire (color) I could check for power? Thank you in advance Christian 2003 4.4i Sport Package |

Okay. A couple of things you can check. (I'm guessing you don't have the memory option.)
The GM module has a PWR wire that goes through the door jamb connector, X256. F24 is fuse 24 that controls that module. You should be able to inspect that if you think there is a power problem. Another easy way is to just turn on your park lights and see if the pass-door module glows amber--but that won't be completely conclusive. Here are all the pins to the door module and each component they go to. Here is the actual door modules pin out for the side mirror on the door. Lets see if this helps you a little bit. Check each of the connectors being connected properly.
