BMW Drive unit aka DISA for the 4.8is

I've recently got a CEL light and the DTCs I obtained were

- 2B70
- 2B71
- 2B72

These all lead to a bad "DISA" - Drive unit on the 4.8is but wondering how many folks have had to replace this unit? I know nothing is finite on these but I couldn't find much about them during my search..

Then I decided to run a generic OBDII reader and pulled the following code:

- P1515

and this code is everywhere, highlighting a bad TPS,TB

for the TPS to be bad, I feel there would be some symptoms related to a bad TPS/TB, such as bucking, possible stalling etc and I am not currently experiencing any of that.

What are you thoughts/experience with these codes if any...

BMW Drive unit is abt $200 more than a new TB/TPS and I don't want to go dumping money on unnecessary parts.

appreciate the help!
