Use a heat gun or hair dryer to warm up the material before you try stretching it out.
the 3m stuff is good but I find good ol' fashioned contact cement works much better in touch up scenarios since you have much better control than with a spray. Normally you apply some to both the surfaces you are gluing and wait for it to skin over but in this case I would apply it to the door card....wait, heat the material to make it more pliable and then glue together. waiting for it to skin over makes both sides grab and hold together. If you don't wait it can move on you since it's "wet". Good luck |
