Well it has been a while. Some progress updates with pictures I guess are needed.

The biggest headache I ran in to was the steering shaft never ever fitting again.
I’ll spare you the 37 different sets I went through but I found some new and old parts and made my own now!

Decided to ditch all the original diesel cooling stuff and used things like

4.8is coolant reservoir and upper connectors to the e46 m3 radiator

Modified the front so I could run shorter pipes for the front mount intercooler(v3.0)

Used some different fittings to get rid of those oversized standard 3 inch connectors

Made some gussets work for the subframe. Just wanted the extra security in knowing that they will not bend at all

I’ll take it off and powdercoat it when all is said and done

Kinda proud of the whole intake and snorkel setup

Again more A/N fittings in the most inappropriate places

Also went with the mishimoto fan control module so I could keep the ac functioning as well.
Don’t forget about the pink exhaust wrap!

Well I just hope I’ll finish all the things on my “checklist” soon
Cause I wish to drive this car again!

Wow! Finally logged into a computer to see the pictures! Super nice off road build with boosted power! Wish mine had another 50-75 HP.

Hi! I have no idea what car they are supposed to fit. I adapted the e53 to the Chevy standard so I just ordered a set that would fit my car.
They are from “Goss” and are called “soft 8 hole” at least on my invoice XD
Think the closest to them spec wise will be jeep jk

Yeah that seems kinda high. I payed about 800 for 5.
I’m guessing you’re in the us. Why not look for a set cragars? Summit has all kinds of sizes available.

Awesome work so far! I'm very curious to see the suspension setup.
I've contemplated adapting L322 suspension to my E53... it would be a lot of work and basically everything would need to be swapped (oil pan, diff, axles, control arms, knuckles, outer tie rods, etc.) and would need to make an adapter plate for the top of the strut.
I wonder if it would be possible to weld new brackets on the E53 subframe to accept the L322 control arms?
