bad vibration in forth
While driving the box changes fine until i get in forth gear. when i try to put my foot down slightly there is a very bad vibration from under my feet area, If i kick down it goes away. In sports its ok as the rev's stay higher. Its like if your driving a manual and try to accelerate from 10mph in top gear. Two day's ago i had the left hand CV explode and i thought that may have been the problem but no. Thank you. dave king |

How's the center carrier bearing? Are the transmission and transfer case mounts in good shape?

Giubo or center support main suspects but only happening when significant loading. Might only happen with the combination of shaft rpm and high torque. The mounts mentioned could allow enough motion to cause problems
