Can either of you guys offer a bit more description on how these camber plates feel to the driver? Are they noticeable when going in a straight line? How about when driving slowly - like around the neighborhood? I know what the effects of adding/improving anti-sway bars feel like, are these similar? Is it more or less dramatic? I suspect they don't do anything to make the cornering feel flatter though, correct? Thanks again guys - can't wait to do mine!

Bit long ago this post
But could somebody explain which of the spring compressors worked better? From the text I cannot tell which one would be the one they prefered and the pictures show both of them being used. The red one seems better but I can imagine that the angle would be a problem...
I definitively need new rear shocks and might want to swith my struts as well. Thx in advance. |

-3 sounds like way too much camber for the street. that will wear out tires like crazy. You might try dailing it to somewhere between -1 and -1.5. I am not familiar with the X5 specifically in this regard, but have owned and raced many high performance cars with modified suspensions. In fact, I have a full out race car and I run about the same camber you are using. That is far too much for a strreet vehicle, IMHO.
