Keep in mind if that doesn't fix it it could also be the wiring harness but the TB fails more often than the harness on M54's and TB's are not that expensive.

Re reading I saw the error is TB not pedal so you are going the right direction.

Before replacing parts, check and clean the connectors.
Replace TB the culprit/accomplice...

More research yields possible strong solution.
I'll let newtis tell us...

Note:
A faulty throttle valve adjusts the adaptation values stored in the DME control unit. These adaptation values need to be reset after replacing the throttle body.

Delete adaptation value:

Connect DIS Tester
Select vehicle type
Select "Digital Motor Electronics MS43", carry out brief vehicle test
Continue by pressing bottom right arrow
The "Fault pattern selection" window appears.

Select the "Function selection" (bottom left)

The "Function and component selection" window appears:
Select ”Service functions”
Select "drive"
Select "Digital Motor Electronics"
Select "Reset adaptations"
Select "Test plan" (bottom left)
The "Test plan" window appears. Select "Reset adaptations"
Continue by pressing bottom right arrow

Further procedures according to DIS instructions.

After the first engine start, the new adaptation values are set in the DME control unit.

Ok, so I just got the Foxwell 530 not sure if it has the capability to do this "resetting of the adaptations" ....once on my days off I'll be putting this into practice.
Keep yah posted.

Not 100% sure about the nt-530, I believe it had some modules it wouldn't work on for the e53

Yeah, I do recall seeing adaptation offered but I was not certain as to what module.

It's always guesswork for me to find. Try and find fuel quality on an e70!

I have this comparison from late 2020, comparing the same models then; it looked to me that all the same functions were shared, so I bought the NT510 Elite (GM programming, prior to purchasing BMW programming later), at a lower pricepoint on Amazon.

I guess the NT 530 is faster?
