This morning it was -5.5C and X5 drove without errors for 40 minutes. Usually it comes on right away as I start driving.
Then it warmed up to -2C and I turned off thr car to go to a store for a couple minutes, and as I started it back up, ABS, Brake and traction control lights are back on. At this point pretty confident it's gotta be the ABS module. Purchased a repair service, will ship it out ASAP https://www.ebay.ca/itm/111073542419...mis&media=COPY |

that does the line perfectly with the common failure mode of those modules. Thats exactly why I asked earlier about ambient temperature which does not affect the speed sensors

Did a lot of fixing on the gen one x5. We had two of them for about six years
