NFL/FL steering rack compatibility

Hi,

Is my first post here, after watching the forum and finding a lot of useful info.

I have a 2004 4.8is, RHD, and I plan to convert it to LHD.
I have a parts car, a nfl, 2001 4.4i.

Is the steering rack compatible? On some sites that sell reconditioned units they say is compatible with fl/nfl but realoem seems to disagree.

From what I can find the subframe seems to be the same, so I would assume there are same mounting points.

Did anyone changed the rack from fl to nfl or other way around?

nfl also have servotronic, so I will retrofit that as well (found a nice post about it, seems easy enough to go for it)

What does NF / NFL mean?
I would imagine to convert from left hand drive to right the steering rack would be totally reversed.

facelift and non-facelift. so LCI and pre-LCI. the rhd car is lci, 2004. the lhd car that will be the donor is a 2001 pre-lci.
the steering rack is indeed reversed.
