I wanted to know the same thing. Seems like evey post I find just talks about the entire console. I just want to remove the trim... anyone know? Is it screwed down? On my new trim it looks as if there are a ton of screw holes.
Help before I start yank'in. (that didn't sound good)

I took my ashtray out for a week or so, now I lost a bunch of stuff down the hole under it... LOL

hello, and to all good luck. i had to replace the cup holder insert last summer. it was not an easy task. since i was running rca cables to the front for aftermarket radio. i had removed the front seats. once out you can begin to disassemble the center console. see pic below.
as you can see theres a lot of pieces. so take ur time. most of the work is with the center console trim area. underneath is where the fun begins. i would say took me 2-3 hours from start to finish. |

note that you do not need to remove the seats in order to remove the center console. there are removal tips on the home page in the "Interior" section.
