Hey everyone. Hope somone can help me. I just received a new remote with a key blank and got the key blank cut to suit my car and also programmed the remote. Now here is the weird part the remote programmed good it unlocks and locks the doors. But the key won't start the car. It turns the ignition on but won't kick over the X. Any help would be great.
Thanks |

Hmm, sounds like the key was not coded to the same specs as the immobilizer on the car. Take it to the dealer and inform them that the key is handling the alarm fine but not the lock out on the ignition.
