Rear Cup Holder Replacement

My rear cup holder in the center console will not stay in when it's pushed in, I think my girlfriend broke it the other day. Has anyone replaced this before? I looked at it this morning and the little spring loaded prong that clicks and keeps it closed is no longer spring loaded... i found one on ebay

Thanks any help would be great-

Mike

I believe you need to remove the console in order to replace it. There's tips on how to remove the console on the home page in the INTERIOR section.

I'd suggest you contact Crevier BMW or BMW of Macon to see how much they charge for one before buying that one on eBay.

I think you have to remove the whole console too, I had a problem with my spring where it would open sometimes and others it wouldn't and I got it fixed under warranty. When I asked what they did they just told me they replaced the spring and it was a quick job. It might be quick since its the dealership.
