Are you using the factory trailer harness wiring module? If so, perhaps yours is "coded off" for the lamp test.

You are correct. I have LED tail lights and coded off the lamp tests a few years ago. I totally forgot until you mentioned it.

BMW Scanner 1.4 also known as PA Soft 1.4.
