This one is kinda silly but for those of you with Navi and Voice Recognition, it'll save you a few words on the navigation commands.

Owner's Manual tells you to say: Hotel at current location
But you can just say: Hotel location

Owner's Manual tells you to say: Hotel at destination
But you can just say: Hotel destination

This also works for Parking Lots, Gas Stations, Restaurants, etc.

I just ran a wire from the back of the radio that has power only when the ignition is on. Then I just disconnected the power wire on the socket and butt connected the one from the radio. I leave the Ipod connected to the socket and it turns the Ipod on when I start the X. Then I just have to hit the pause button on the way out of the X. The Ipod will shut down a minute later. Rob

Since I'm not technically inclined, I got the flashlight to Cigarette adapter for ~$15. The flashlight socket is switched so it turns off when the car does. I also got a socket triplicator. There is an opening on the back left hand side of the glove box if you want to pass the plug through.

I replaced the flashlight with an LED Lifelite. Much brighter and reliable. 7 year shelf life.

The sunroof has one too.. It overreacts on my 330.. Sometimes when I hit the button so the sunroof auto-closes, it will stop about half way and start moving backwards. I think the air resistance activates the strip.

Yeah it can be irritating. The only real problem I've had with it was once when I hit the close sunroof button and assumed it was closed. It ended up staying about 3/4 of the way open and, of course, while I was away from the car there was a rain storm!
