Thinking about putting the summer rims back on...

Since it is so warm here in NY, I am thinking about taking the winter setup off. I don't want to burn up my 20" Scorpion Ice and Snow. Anyone else thinking the same thing??

I'm in NYC/ Central NJ. I haven't even put my winter set up on yet. I know I'm pushing the law of averages here. The forecast is warm through next week. I don't want to go back to my 18"

I'm in the same boat. This weather is crazy. I spent $1K on new Pirelli 19" snow tires and hate to eat them up. Do snow tires wear quickier, because of the compound, then regular tires? I have 19" Pirelli for the winter and 22" Nitto's for the summer. I have no problem drive with the 22" in the cold unless all that sand and sh*t is on the roads.

I believe that warm weather/roads do burn up the winter rubber since it is a softer compound.

I am still riding my 20's and I intend to do so until the first forecast of snow. Seeing how the winter has been very warm so far, I may not have to mount my snow tires at all...then again that maybe wishful thinking.

If you guys want it to snow, just ask me to put my 19's back on. I'm sure as soon as I do that we won't see the grass until mid-April...
