the wheel is thicker, with better grain leather

but you lose the thumb support in the bottom spoke!!!

Once you get it, you'll regret waiting for the old one to be old and worn out. I'll bet Morristown BMW can give you a great price...

Looks great!! It does make it feel like you're driving a new one, doesn't it? I remember when I installed my Sport Steering wheel on mine. I said it does for the interior what my Style 87's did for the exterior (almost).

What year M3 wheel did you use? Part #? I assume you had to buy an airbag. How about cost? Everone else out there... Since this was a European car is there any difference with an American vehicle?

do you need to buy a new airbag unit if you have the '00-'03 sport wheel? they do seem to be similar wheels
