NOVAX5 is on a distinguished road
Is this a good GPS device? Megallan Maestro 400

I couldnt find any rewiew on this GPS device. Do you guys have any review on this thing?

This Magellan model does not have text to speech capability unlike the Nuvi.

Not the same model. The one advertised above is the 4000, the one on CNET is the 4040

Without "text to speech" the unit is worthless in my humble opinion. It can't read street names to you without. All you'll here is "Turn left" instead of "turn left on mayberry".

There was a thread on here with several members posting their navigation units.

the Nuevo 350 and 660 seemed to be the best. They just stuck it in the AC vents and it stayed there.

i am quite happy with my nuvi 350. i had mine hardwired over the weekend so now i like it even more!
