Floating?

Recently I have noticed my steering acting a little strange. I am used to the normal trammeling, but this seems to be more. When turning, the car seems to feel like its slipping. I checked the tires and all have equal air pressure. I just had the CV boot work done, and dont hear any noises, so that cant be it.

So now I am now to two ideas: 1. Just needs an alignment. It drifts a little to the right but nothing too much out of the ordinary.
2. The bushings. I really dont know what the warning sign is, but reading these forums, this seems to be the next thing that is going to go. (before the water pump of course!)

I have an apt with the dealer but of course their first available isnt until the 31st. So until then, any ideas? Besides being annoying, how much is this going to mess up my car? Thanks!!
