The radio modual is no good on its own! You still cant have the screen working without either the Nav or TV modual, those two items are what get the screen to work so you can see what radio stations are available!!

The complete Aftermarket system I was talking about, can be purchased from £160 and a good facia plate like the one in the link for around £100/£125
Its a far better option than going down the route of trying to retrofit an original BMW system, its a simple plug and play install no need for taking the interior apart other than the radio section and it look great, plus you you can buy a touch screen system also! it is an addiction!!! thinking of starting a support group... i was thinking of adding OEM nav too but with everything that's involved it ends up not being worth it IMO. was thinking the aftermarket double DIN unit too. But will my current mods like DICE ipod work with that? the new system should just see it as a cd changer right? anyone here have dice with aftermarket head unit? i really like my ashtray dock, and i'm installing sirius this week!! so not sure if the aftermarket stuff will work with OE sirius.

thinking of something cool to add nav though if i stay with business CD, if&when i pull it off will definitely post.
