cracked rim

not sure what happened, i think i hit a good bump on the highway and i put a crack in my rim, inside slow leak. i'm thinknig i can get it fixed but dont want to because i just dont want to deal with a bad repair job or vibrations. im not gonna buy from "that ebay guy" so i was gonna buy OEM. i found this site through google.

how come the replica is 5 dollars more? am i missing something?

Would you mind posting a photo of your cracked rim? I have something like small cracks in one rim and am trying to determine if this is going to be a serious problem that need immediate attention.

notice the crack to this right. this must have been damage from the previous owner.

is your clearcoat/paint cracking? i've had that problem with remanufactured rims before. after some good driving on the rims, the finish goes bad.

Tony, just get it fixed

Use a company like Transwheel or WheelsAmerica and you'll be very happy with the result and it'll still be an OEM wheel. Your damage isn't that bad, honestly.

I had a Ferrari wheel that was much worse than that, and after they got finished with it, it was the straightest wheel of the bunch!
