that makes sense! i have 19" myself and yes, just like you, i want the protection!

255/50-19 in the front and 285/45/19 in the rear. I got the staggered setup and it looks really good, the 285s really fill out the back. They also sell the non staggered, 255s front and back which is a little cheaper and you can rotate them.

exact same size here, staggered, 255/50/19 front and 285/45/19 rear. love the setup!
