Love this thread. You guys have done some amazing things to your X's!

My 2003 4.4i came to me all stock about two years ago. Since then I've added:

- Staggered Toyo Proxes (8.5" front, 10" rear) on Beyern 5 20" rims
- OEM mudflaps
- OEM trailer hitch
- Tenosha Prodigy electric brake controller
- BSW Stage 1 speakers
- BSW Subwoofer (10"?)
- BSW Bluetooth Retrofit Kit
- Dice iPod controller
- XM/Sirius Satellite radio (internal)

I think that's it. But you guys make me want to do more.

Dave

I considered the those 20 Beyerns at one time. But stuck with the 87's instead.

I like the "retro" look of the 87's, and was thinking of getting them, but my best friend has them on his 3 Series. Didn't want to seem like a "copycat", so I went with the Beyern 5's. They look really nice when everything is shiny and clean.

Good to see good old WA represented. Little far for everybody for an X5 bash though!

Thanks for the compliments. Really enjoying my X5. Best car I've ever had, and I keep asking why I waited so long to get one.

Yep, I'm in Skagit County. It's a great area for road trips in all directions. Like it here.

I thought the vanity plate was a no-brainer when I got it. At least it was for me. I can't tell you how many people have asked, "So how many times HAVE you been married?" or "What does that mean?" I got tired of pointing to the X5 emblem on the fender, so I got rid of it earlier this year when it renewed. I'm back to a normal plate for now. So if any of you Washington people wants a vanity plate, my old one should be available.

87's on a 3 series. Do you mind posting a pic of your best friends 3 series. Thanks.

Ok, now you've got me second-guessing myself. Maybe what I'm thinking of aren't 87's after all? (Wouldn't be the first time I got confused. LOL!) I saw a page once that showed rim styles and numbers. Is that around someplace?
