The rims look great... -- good luck with the weight issue. If all else fails, you might wanna try OEM or taking it to the dealer.

That is a ridiculous amount of weights. Although you would not be the first to have problems balancing 20" + replica's. Shame on whoever mounted them.
The tire should be removed, rip the weights off, spin the tire a half turn, remount and if it needs one quarter of the weights to balance....send those beeotches back. |

As I say before call your seller and tell then your issue about the vibration and pretty sure going to send you the rings they are so tiny that you can even believe that you need it or you may have wheel problem about my picture its just Michelin guy saying Hi!
Take back and remove all those weights and get them rebalance, if you can get a road force balance machine, it will be better for the tires. In my X it only 1 or 2 weights on each tire and they runs perfect, I can go 100 110 no problem. |

might only need to get one rim replaced.
call and ask them about the rings or whatever. i imagine all four should be the same. |

How come no one is saying this? Surprised.
If your bore size is in fact 74.1, that is incorrect for the e53. That is the bore size for the e70. What you need is the hubcentric rings for 72.6 to 74.1 Are you sure they are 74.1? I'd double check. If so, then you definitely need hubcentric rings. Hope that helps. |

As we say in the wheel balencing business, I can balance a brick... but I can't make it round. If the wheel takes more than 90 grams on either plane something is wrong... and it looks like you have about 600 grams!!!!!! Either the wheel or tire is very bad, and if new would be a parts warranty issue from the supplier.
What you NEED to do is have the wheels in question measured for out of round by a good tire shop with a road force balancer which will tell you which aspect is that far out whether it is a bent wheel, bad tire or the original tire shop improperly mounted/balanced the wheel. Sorry, just read the whole thread, it seems you have 2 problems, 1 is you need the hub-centric rings. 2 is the bad balance issue.

Update
Brought the car to my local tire fitter and showed them the rim. They agreed that there was too much weight used and attempted to rebalance, but they couldnt get the weight reduced, so they advised to ask the supplier for replacement fronts.

i think we could round up 99% to 100%, if you still have a vibration it can be due to something else like alignment or something with the brakes.
rim could be out of round. (mfg defect) see if you can have them ship another to you.
