The center toggle is for fine tuning my friend! Figure out exactly how you like it with the center vent toggle in between the red and blue dots and voila! Use the center vent only if you feel it'a a little too hot or a little too cold! Goodluck!

I agree. I struggled with it a little bit at the beggining to find the right adjustment but when I did I did not have to touch it anymore. It has been great since.
