Which Valentine One mode do you use?

Now that I have a hardwired V1, I'm trying out the 3 different modes... those being the "All Bogeys" mode, where it report any radar it detects... "Logic" mode, where it filters out some of the really obvious false alarms... and "Advanced Logic" mode, where it's even more discrete at filtering out false alarms.

Just wondering what people who have used the V1 for a long time think of the different modes - i.e. are "Logic" and "Advanced Logic" modes reliable enough to never dismiss real radar threats as false alarms? (If so, I wonder why anyone would use any mode other than "Advanced Logic"... )

I think the mode that actually displays an "L" (2 vertical dashes, 1 horizontal dash) is Advanced Logic mode... the one that displays a shortened half-L (1 vertical dash, 1 horizontal dash) is the regular Logic mode...

Ekaz, did you ever miss a smokey in "L" mode?

"A" mode all the time. But then again I turn it off around town. But on the road I want no filtering and the most sensitive gain.

Not yet. Around here they have displays that show you how fast you're going, I pick those up at least 2 miles away.

I only use "A" mode, if you are moving pretty fast the advanced logic can take too much time to tell you to slow down.
