Your X is BANANAS!!! I love when somebody steps outside the box and dares to be different. There are way too many cookie-cutter X's out there with no originality or imagination.

Yours is definitely in my top ten ever seen on this site. Richie Rich you're one of my top ten too dude.

Congrats, great theme with excellent results.
Like Michelle said, we need to see the lid contrasting with the body. Nice one

........The OP never said anything about trying to replicate a pano sunroof, just wanted the gloss black roof for contrast. I think it came out great and very original. Can you show me one other E53 with this scheme?

MB isn't the only car company with blacked out/pano roofs, homie! Although it maybe "played out" in Socal, I'm in Norcal. The paint job may not be for everyone, but it made me like driving it more than I used to.

totally agreed i was thinking of doing vinyl wrap of the roof... in carbon fibre... DECALFX.com! CARBON3™ VINYL! Carbon Fiber Hyper Black Looks Realistic with WEAVES! Low cost, high quality vinyl film overlay sheets! Textured for hoods, custom interior dash trim moulding!

Definitely in my top ten of rides as well... curious, how much was the job for custom paint?
