There's a few on eBay. I remember when I was looking for a replacement cd changer I ran into a few. ( now I have the dice ).

I don't recall pricing.

If you ever had a "Mechano" kit when you were a kid then the CD changer/NAV computer/Amp/Voice control etc... mounting assembly will look familiar!!!
The part you are looking for is item #10 in the parts list, follow this Realoem link.

I bought a CD changer on ebay, then I had to get the bracket on ebay too. I did not pay more than $30.00 for the bracket. I put the whole thing in myself for about $300.00 and the dealer wanted over a $1,000.00 for install and the changer. I did it myself with hardly any help from my husband, luckily I am pretty handy but the very bottom part of the bracket I could not figure out how to get it screwed in so it is not, but the bracket is super secure and not going anywhere, when I hit potholes it does skip a beat, but to avoid the dealer and the cost no biggie! Love it.

Well done Trustyblonde! The dealer prices are nuts! Did you get the BMW changer that plays MP3s ???

Did you ensure the mounting adjustment on the changer was set to H for horizontal - might explain the skipping when you hit a bump...
Adjuster looks something like this on each side of the changer (V for vertical).

I changed my CD changer to an Alpine unit which also plays MP3s. I can burn hundreds of MP3 songs to each disc and make up my own compilations. The changer including the plug&play interface was less than €200!

CD Changer Was Set Vertical

After searching through many post on the Xoutpost Forum, I found why my Mini BMW CD Changer was skipping some much. It was set for vertical mount and not horizontal mount. The 6 CD Changer I bought was from ebay. It was from a Mini BMW, manufactured March 2005. No. 82 11 0 146 464. Both left and right side positions needed to be switched from vertical to horizontal. Each side had a plastic cover covering the position settings and was easily accessible with my fingers after removing CD Bracket mounts with philips head.

If you have a DSP system you will only have the 3 pin connector and not the other 6 pin connector. You will need to get the coaxial cable to connect the CD changer with the amp.
