It looks good on silver. They changed that from red to white in MY 2003. I have not changed mine because the red one blends in better with the black underside of the spoiler whereas the white one stands out more to me. It's really a personal preference thing.

Love It!!
I just recently installed one on my Steel Gray Metallic 3.0i and I love it. It has the red led's, but you can't see them as red........
It really is just a preference thing, but I knew I had to do it to mine. It just takes about 20 minutes to do it..........the instructions are on here somewhere.......
