Ok Awesome I’ll get on that! The beast is laid up in the garage right now as I sort through some issues, but here is a snap of the interior, I love it!!

Hey guys! New member to forums, pretty familiar with the brand.

Recently sold my E46 330i to get into an E90 M3 but things aren't working out, so I've been on the hunt for a clean E53 X5 4.8is

As much as I want one, I'm also scared to get one. Funny story: I work for AGA Tools, the company that makes the coolant pipe and valve stem seal tools.

Hey, Rich. Great to see you on here. AGA’s reputation precedes you!

Quick question, is the air ride typically hash with the full sport suspension air ride on these X’s?

The air ride on my 2005 LR3 is super smooth, but on the X it feels a lot more like my lowered 850i on Bilstein sports shocks.

A friend of mine is looking to sell his 4.8is. I just signed up here to see if he had listed it on here or if anyone might be interested.

It is a 2005 Titanium Silver over black, 120k miles, enthusiast owned it's whole life with lots of records and window sticker. It has some tasteful modifications including BC coilovers with air suspension delete and coded out, camber arms in the rear, and spacers. I'd love to buy it but I too am scared of them!

Valve stem seals have not been done but are said to be good, and an inspection at the local dealer found it needs timing cover gaskets, valve cover gaskets, and vacuum pump seal, and alternator bracket gasket.

Not sure if I'm allowed to post it here but I will add a picture or two of it. He's a photographer so he's got very pictures of it.

I saw that one... tempting. Though the mileage is on the higher side it's priced right if it passes a PPI only needing a couple thousand in parts.

The mileage justifies making it a daily driver! Go negotiate it into your driveway...
