From Car and Driver review - I thought it was faster... are these correct for a 4.8is?

0-to-60 in 6 seconds
1/4 mile in 14.5

Official BMW number for 0-60 is 5.9 sec. Magazine tests were faster...just like they did with X5 M.

Hey Guys ...

I just read a review/comparison in Car & Driver, I believe, on the new X5 M, Porsche, Land Rover, Jeep and maybe another make. WOW! I Would love to get that bad boy (X5 M)! However, that's a no-go for now as in-laws are coming and gonna need to buy a mini-van.

Love the 4.8 so keeping it instead of trading her in on the mini-van. For awhile thought I was gonna lose her!

For now, I gotta figure out how to keep the fog light connections from corroding from moisture. Every now and then I get the dreaded "check fog lamps".
