One touch it closes the sunroof 1/10th of it. So gotta touch it 10 times to close the roof, 10 more times to close the liner.

Anybody had this issue?
Tried the reset thing yesterday (open the roof liner, then press the center of the sunroof button and hold it. It opened the sunroof tilted kind, then stayed there did nothing.) I held the button for over a minute nothing. Then closed the whole thing with multiple button presses...

This car is breaking down all the time.
With only 65K miles, a total POS for sure!
CV joints are next... A total waste of money! Never another X5 for me!
First time owning BMW? LOL
Now sell it.

Yeah first time.
Bought brand new in 2004
And had its own share of problems since the warranty ended...

Before and during BMW, had Infiniti, Audi, and they both have been very well made.

Why do the problems immediately start once the warranty ends? That is what i don't understand

I guess I will not be using my sunroof at all anymore. Will take it to the shop once I get the brakes changed, last time I had the inspection done they said the breaks should be on their way to be gone. I am waiting for that break light to come on... Will ask what the issue may be.

I have been using my pano roof all through summer, it was always fully opened and fully closed daily. My garage is heated so I usually tilt open the roof every day so that the cabin remains warm.

Could it be that the lack of use has something to do with it
