The driver side the one that I pulled opens from the inside but the outside is loose. I can pull it up and I see piece 11 loose. Do I need to order something or is it just a snap it back in? I pulled up really hard this morning so I definitely did something to it. *slaps himself*

The driver side was stuck this morning but opened up from the inside as well. Now it opens up from the outside.

Thanks all for your help. <3

11 is held in by a screw covered by two pieces of black plastic on the inside of the driver door you can see when you open it. the other piece (9 or 14) just clips onto that.

so it just started working? must have been ice you heard break.

Order a door carrier or go to your dealership and pick one up for around $100.00. it is an easy repair. My driver side door carrier broke last week. It is funny seeing all these posts on broken door carriers now that the weather is really getting cold.

The same thing, I think, just happened to my driver side door handle too. The only problem is, in my case, my car has been sitting since Thanksgiving (in freezing temps) with a dead battery. I just got a new battery last night and went to put it in this morning, to find that I can't get into my car. No power so I can't use my key remote to unlock other doors to get in.

Not sure what I'm going to do...

SiennaX5er , if you can open drivers door lock by inserting the key you can open the hood where you will find connectors for a booster pack , info in the drivers handbook .
if you can`t open the car at all then it is possible to connect to the power cable for the starter motor with a battery charger , an hour of charging should be enough to make door locks work . I can`t really give you a full diy for this so best to get a qualified tech to do this method .
