There aren't as many vids or DIY's for the rear carrier. I have the retractable shades in my rear doors. I saw one video that shows removing the trim piece that holds the shade for the triangle window. Do I need to mess with this just to get door panel off to replace door handle carrier?
Yes, you do need to remove the vertical trim piece, and it is not obvious how to do it. But it's easy to do if you know how it is held in place. The attached PDF was written by someone else, and I saved it. Photos show exactly where you need to pry to undo the little clip thing.
