Thanks! I guess I was just hoping for an unused harness hidden somewhere. Looks like I will run out and get some cable today.
I've looked at your install quite a bit. It looks great! Just ordered my bezel the other day also.

couple of questions:
1) Is there is reverse wire up front to tap into instead of running yet another wire to the back?
2) assume that I just need to run the speaker signal, antenna extension, amp on, and camera wires? For the camera can I just use a standard RCA?
Was planning on using the same Monster 6 channel and use 4 for the speaker in, 1 for sub amp (future mod) and one for the camera.

Thanks very much!
MJ

1. I'm sure there is a reverse signal wire up front but I didnt look. Its easier to get it from the back. Note - The 12V signal from the reverse light is pulsed and may cause the video to be staticky. I used a relay for mine so the relay is energized by the reverse light and power comes directly from the battery.

2. Easier to just buy a single RCA or even a double and just cap the second one since in the event you want to run 2 aftermarket amps for full range speakers and sub you can use the monster cable. No need to run additional cable then and its easier while you have the car apart now. Just my opinion. You can do what you stated though if you wanted.

Day 5? 6? Starting to loose track and I'm not getting too far. Having the hardest time finding the ACC wire.

I think in the glove box I ran it to a fuse, i can't remember which one, but Crutchfield sent me this jumper and it states to clip to one side of a fuse.

At this point..my only update is:
1) I love my BMW
2) I hate the factory wiring and all the other @#$% that sits on the I-bus

Ripping it all out....picked up an Alpine 4 channel and components for the doors for now.

You are better off since you would have been stuck with the OEM amp that has its own built in crossover. I just used the components and 8 speakers. I do not use the dash speakers anymore.

Thanks! I agree completely..in less than an hour I've finally got sound!
Did you connect the antenna power to anything? I know we have an antenna amp in the back but not sure if that already gets power or not.
