Recent events BMW X5 • View topic - exhaust

Another classic BMW X5 • View topic - 2010 rangerover sport over e70 all day

Oh and the LPG thread BMW X5 • View topic - lpg conversions in general?

Just to add that as a moderator on another board it goes against my better nature to come on here & speak re another member - But Heh ! ........The guy is going global slagging off our site & membership.

I have lost count as to how many motoring & car related boards I am an active member on, (not just X Series related). No doubt I will see or be told re any other bad mouthing.

Anyway - Enjoy folks

MIG 1 is Bugging out ( for now) !

Thumbs up X5 Drivers Forum

Hi,
I just wanted to respond to this post as a member of both X5 Drivers & Xoutpost.
I have only been a member of these sites since October 09 when I bought my X5 & just wanted to say I have found both of them friendly & helpfull
I use X5 drivers forum more as it is a UK site & as I drive a diesel there is more information for the diesel models on there, but all of my questions have been answered in a positive way by the members who have helped me sort a few niggling problems out.
I am not going to get into a slanging match as I don't personally know the OP or the other members who have responded, but from the posts I've read from the OP he does appear to have issues !
This is just my opinion based on reading some of his threads.
These forums are a great source of information & both are moderated in a fair way, long may this continue.

Kind regards to all, Phil

Just to support my fellow moderator (or pensioner) that we have tried, but to no avail with this member.

I think it is always in bad taste to speak negatively about another forum, especially as these are not competing forums so there is no "better" or "worse".

We continue to welcome new members and try to assist in any way we can, including providing links to posts in this forum if they are relevant. The place is a friendly meeting location and so far, we have never asked anyone to leave. There is however a limit to what we will tolerate in order to preserve a civil community. This was however now exceeded.

I know some of those people...the creative ones. Some throw their weight around because they either successfully own their business or run a corporation and do it very well. Just how old is DONONE69 anyway? He has a lot to learn about people and how NOT to antagonize them.

Ah yes I meant to add this to my post.

I have a number of professional qualifications after my name.
The Chap I referred to worth £45m, left school at 14. Another who has done quite well for himself also left at the same sort of age and will freely admit he is not bright but is a hard worker and lives for his company. Hard work pays off and a bit of common sense goes a long way. Oh yeah and he has one of those new Range Rover Sports that he bought for his wife.
