X5 control arms, bushing kit on ebay

Hi, I found this package on ebay for front suspension parts

BMW X5 Control Arms Ball Joint 99 00 01 02 03 04 05 06 : eBay Motors (item 350171132396 end time Apr-21-10 14:45:54 PDT)

I am getting a lot of wiggle, knocking and banging from most of these parts up front. I have changed the lower and tie rods a few years back, but not the upper and ball joint, which I think are going bad.

I am also gonna have both wheel bearings changed, since I am getting grinding noises from the right side.

Anyway what are your thoughts on this stuff. There design looks very much like factory and made in germany. but who knows

Looks like an excellent package price, no tax and free shipping too! How many miles do you have on your X?

78K

I have 20" Style 85's with verdenzstien tires, so this is the 2nd time I am dealing with worn suspension parts. But I only did a half job that time, so not sure if other parts were going.

I'm seeing it you way too. I don't know the quality of the kit but if your dealing with suspension parts failures that often (and you're sure it's suspension related), can't be any worse right?. I'd pull the trigger for that price. I have replaced several OEM parts failures with aftermarket and had good results with the replacement parts. Good luck with it!

really where is that threat?

I dont know am thinkin on replacing all my control arms and thats a heck of a deal for everything for $249.99 including shipping. i called the stealership about a week ago and they wanted $239 for just one lower control arm!! some ppl here say they are good and ur saying some ppl say they r junk no one can really say anything unless they tried em.. I feel like pulling the trigger and get em since its saying
manufactured by Hamburg-Technic Germany... but i dont know i really dont wanna waste time and money if they go bad again

Wayne's World and Hal88 claims they have dealt with these people and their parts and had good luck. That's good enough for me. I'm marking this thread in my favs so I'll know where to go when I need a new front. I have had excellent luck with several aftermarket replacement parts based on the opinions of these good people who have tested the waters of course. Conversly, I've had very poor luck with the original OEM parts that continue to fail prematurely for me. I'd pull the trigger on it.
