The X3 rear wiper seems like the better of the 3 setups currently. I think it looks better than the E70's rear wiper. Lets see some pics from 4MoeJoe!

Ok, here it is. Now that I've seen the X3 and what I have the X3 is different. So now I'm not sure what the heck they bought!

No way...defies the whole point and the shape of the X seems to create a nice little swirl of air and trap dust all over the ass end.

I definitely like it!!! Better looking than the E70 wiper. I just double checked and its not the wiper from the E60 wagon either. Possibly the wiper from the E93 wagon?

I checked and its not the wiper from the E91 wagon either. Where does this mystery wiper belong? I do like it and would do this upgrade in a heartbeat as soon as someone can post a PN. I'm sure its on the wiper somewhere. Possibly on one of the edges or under the arm.

Ok, mystery solved! I actually about peed myself when I discovered the origin of this wiper.

I looked everywhere at it and finally took the cap off that covers the bolt. And there it was, the word - VOLVO. After a lot of web searching I found it. It's from an XC90. You need two parts:

Volvo #30699847 - XC90 2007-2010 Wiper Arm Rear w/Wiper Cover OES $52.33
http://www.swedishautoparts.com/XC90...d-related.html
(This is the arm and the cover, OES means Original Equipment Volvo Part)

You then need the blade:

Volvo # 30699848 - XC90 2007-2010 Wiper Blade Rear OES
(same link above). $16.41

For whatever reason this fits on my X5.

I need to get a new blade so I'll order one. Now the question is will other X5 owners put Volvo wiper parts on their car! I'm not removing it as I like it!

I thought you said it didn't work all that well.

What dealer did this to you again?

I'm not sure how a cross between a German and Swede would turn out?

My blade is worn out - so I'll try that first. Cheap test.
