I'm suprised, in the UK bluetooth came as standard with the comms pack from Sept 2003 > late 2006 on facelift models. My car is a Sept 2004 and also comes with BT as part of the comms pack.

Also how comes so many 4.8is cars in the US don't come with running boards? They came as standard on all 4.8is in the UK, I think they need with with the wide arch kit which the 4.8is comes with. Nice car BTW.

I recd the Smurfette Thurs mornin and have been in Seventh Heaven since then!

Today, I had my BMW master tech install a brand new ZCP M3 wheel with Mr.Paddleshift retrofit kit.
The shifts in Sport Mode are awesome and I love being able to drive/shift the car as my M3!

BTW-how do I tell if the Xer has BT?
I checked the 'trunk' and it has the BT antenna installed.
How do I initiate the connection w my Nav?

it doesn't if it an 04. It would be titled as an 05 to have BT.

UPDATE

After owning the car for 30-days, the mod bug has already got me!

I have installed the following goodies:

+ X-pipe: terrific sound and performance improvement
+ AFE, Stage 2, Intake: great sound and performance enhancement
+ Dinan, Throttle Body and Stage 3 Software: the car feels like a total different beast!!!

The power and shifts are improved significantly with all the mods listed above.
I am VERY satisfied
