Really wierd braking

I was jut dropping off my Gf to school today and we approached a stop sign and when i slowed down the brake just sounded really really weird. Slight vibration and kinda felt like my brake wasnt doing its job as well as it suppose to. I pulled over got my flash light out and checked my brakes and everything was okay. There was a good amount of the brake pad left and nothing that seemed out of place. i am going to bring this to a shop soon and get it checked but i was wondering if anyone can tell if this is a warp rotor or a sign of a warped rotor? it went away right after that single incident aswell and now everything is fine. Traveling speed was about 20 to 30 mph not fast at all to a complete stop.

I dont thinks its the rotors as this normaly results in steering wheel shake. Did you notice alot of heat coming from any of the wheels? What can happen is calliper can sieze on the floating pins which could cause problems.

Does it do it every time?

If not, try to duplicate it on an empty parking lot (at school?) that is flat & smooth (definitely not NYC roads). Unfortunately, you can get some weird feedback from braking on bad roads.

I did the wet road ABS braking at BMW (as did all that did the factory p/u), and as I remember it, you only heard the ABS, the car braking was smooth with no shudder or shaking. If it's the ABS, then its not working and you should be able to duplicate what you felt. On 2nd thought, have the dealer do it. If he crashes, then you can get a new one out of him.
