All you need is H7 with digital ballasts kit. Xenon conversion, Xenon conversion kit, hid ballast, bi xenon hid kits, hid xenon bulbs

Bought a H7 conversion kit, but there is one problem. The OEM bulb is H7, and I got a H7 kit, I tried to place the HID H7 buld into the headlight, it fits but it doesn't have a clip that would be able to hold it in place. Is there something I'm missing for the bulb to be held?

the way that i did it on my wifes x5 was cutting the metal holder from the oem mount and sliding that onto the new mount. it sounds crude but it does work. just used a pair of strong tin snips

That was my first idea too but i realized you don't need to do that. What you do is fold the wires slightly and slip it in with in the clip. I know that's not very specific but if you look at the metal clip and the wire think of how you could do it and it should become obvious. I don't have pictures of this because it was done last winter. Sry for the obscure post but i was able to do this without cutting the clip and just wanted to inform you that there is another method
