04/04 Prod date 4.4i CCV & Pipes - Longish

Hello Everyone,

Did all the reading of the threads, did not find anything specific to my X.
While idling yesterday(15 Min) I know shame on me, oil smoke coming out of the exhaust, drivers side worst than pax..revved her up and could have fogged for bugs...Once I took off I never saw smoke again...
She has been using some oil, since change, which is due again soon.
The car is always garaged at night and my drive is 10 miles one way to work. I am in Kansas City, so we have some extreme temperature swings.

As the title says Production date 04/2004 4.4i last seven of the vin LV05663 108k on the clock.

I am going to order the following parts from Tischer (local dealer much more expensive)

P/N 11127547058 Repair kit pressure regulating valve 2 each $20.24ea

Real OEM link RealOEM.com * BMW E53 X5 4.4i Cylinder head cover

P/N 11617547185 Vent Pipe $55.65

P/N 11617547186 Vent Pipe $55.65

Real OEM link RealOEM.com * BMW E53 X5 4.4i Crankcase-Ventilation

I purchased the vehicle last year in July with 89k on the clock. My first oil change was 5w30 Valvoline full synthetic.
I don't know the history of the vehicle and with it using oil, and all I read on here, thought this would be a good thing to do. I have added oil at least twice since change, last time was probably two months ago and it was easily two quarts. I had the belly pan off last month when I changed the tractions struts, ball joints Etc, only oil was a leaking power steering factory clamp.
Should I order anything else for this job, or should I change anything else while i'm at it?

Thank you for your help and great posts!
