Help - Swing Arm / Strut removal question.

I need help removing my front strut. I have this swing arm attached to the strut on top and to the sway bar on the bottom.
I don't know how to remove this arm. I loosen the bolt and it just spins.
On the back is a plastic cover. I guess I need to remove that? How do I remove this and what else will I need to do to take off this swing arm from the strut.

Thanks !

It is part #7.

pull the rubber back and see if there is somewhere to put an open end wrench.

Yes did mine a few weeks ago. There's a flat for a spanner to get on if you push the rubber back ;however I did need to grind one of mine off.

You all are correct. I pulled back the black rubber boot and was able to use pliers.
Just make sure you don't grab the washer in front of the part you need to grab. The correct tool would be a super thin 18mm open-end wrench.

Thanks for the help.

Great news BruinMan!

I ruined a spanner by grinding it down thinner for this job. Although I say 'ruined', I may be able to use it for something similar in the future, or indeed if I need to do this job again at some point. Hopefully not TOO soon though!

Put new ones in while you are there. These things wear out with alarming frequency and then you have clunking sounds.
